Marion Cultural Alliance is the lead arts advocate and funder for the ARTS in our community. Our mission to champion, convene, and create opportunities for artists and non-profit arts organizations in our community.

Since 2001, more than $340,000 has been granted to arts organizations for programming, equipment, and for increased access to the arts for all. MCA also provides grants to individual artists. Annually, the grant proposals exceed our ability to fully fund the requests. In part, your support will help us build our endowment and fulfill more requests.

Additionally, MCA’s strategic plan includes increased programs and workshops at The Brick, increased support for individual artists, and a new public art project. (MCA’s famed Horse Fever public art installations are still much beloved)

Ride for the Arts Gran Fondo capitalizes on the rising trend of cycling and fitness and demand for experienced-based spending with an event like no other. Growing the Ride will gain national attention, focusing an important demographic on two key components of Ocala's amazing quality of life - fitness and culture.
